The honey dryer is a professional machinery designed by GIORDAN SRL in 2000 and subject to constant improvements over the years.
It is designed to extract excess water from honey without altering its organoleptic characteristics. It maintains honey flavour and fragrance through an airlock system with forced ventilation. The airlock system excludes external factors such as smell
and air humidity from the processed honey. At the same time it does not allow honey flavour and fragrance to leak out and assure excellent end products.
In order to improve the performance of the dryer, GIORDAN SRL has designed and incorporated an high-performance system that works with cold air. This system is able to condense and gather the water extracted from honey in a short time by using low temperatures.
Inside the dryer there are several slow rotating disks made of AISI 304stainless steel.
On their surface the disks have some baffles used both for improving the drying process and for transforming the dryer into an excellent mixer. The machine structure is mounted on wheels and it is made of solid AISI 304 stainless steel in line with Directive
CE. The performance of the dryer is also improved by the double-walled structure which is heated through water. It has a total discharge bottom and its cover is equipped with a small window useful to check the processed honey.
The machine is equipped with a control panel with digital thermostat for reading honey temperature, motor drive control, drying function and main switch. The dryer includes an automatic dehumidification system that extracts the excess water from
honey and transfers it to an AISI 304 stainless steel recovery tank outside the machine. This tank contains a level regulator of water that stops the dehumidification cycle when the set amount of water to be extracted is reached.
